TP-Link® Unveils Smart Bulb Solutions, Compatible with Amazon Alexa and No Hub Required

SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Sep. 13, 2016 – TP-Link®, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, today announced its new family of Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs, the LB100, the LB110 and the LB120. All models are now available at online retailers nationwide.

TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs install just like a standard light bulb and do not require a smart hub or bridge, making them cost-effective and simple to use. Consumers can download the Kasa app to connect the bulbs to their home Wi-Fi and in seconds, they are able to easily add devices and interact fully within their smart home. Once connected using the Kasa app, TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs create an incredibly simple and streamlined connected home experience.

“TP-Link’s collection of Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs was thoughtfully designed to bring peace of mind and simplicity to today’s modern home,” said Lewis Wu, executive vice president of TP-Link USA. “There’s no need for a hub or other accessories to enjoy accessible smart lighting and we offer a number of different smart lighting options, which allow consumers to outfit their entire home.”

TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs offer a number of great features. All models are Amazon Alexa compatible so consumers can control them using power of their voice. TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs are also LED energy efficient and feature built-in energy monitoring, which allows consumers to track energy usage right from the Kasa app, saving hassle and money. With three different models, users can pick the brightness and lighting features that work best for them, but all models allow for brightness adjustment and the ability to set lighting schedules or scenes.
